There I was surfing the Netflix for something life affirming
to help wash away a growing sense of Orwellian dystopia, and I found it. A documentary called "The Tiger and the Monk"
which told of the Buddhist temple in Thailand
that is a sanctuary for tigers, and showed the life they share with the
monks. It was beautiful, and
engaging. There was just this one
problem - Its a giant polished turd!
As I soon discovered when I Googled the place, the government stepped in and shut them down for
animal abuse & exploitation. The monks claim that since they are
prohibited from working for money, caring for the animals requires donations
from tourists who travel there for a selfie with a tiger. Truth is, the place was a "tiger mill" and the monks were
caught selling tiger cubs to
rich folks wanting exotic pets.
That's the exact problem that's led to the things we must
put up with everywhere we turn these days.
Nothing is real anymore, no
matter where you go it's just the same thing everywhere, giant polished turds!! It's
why there is so much glitter and gloss in media and advertising, no
substance. The traditional marketing
motto of "Sell the sizzle, not the
steak" has become "All
sizzle - no steak"
These times we are witnessing take their toll especially hard
upon the more spiritually oriented as we watch humanity being herded away from our
evolution as a species; into the corrals of conformity and obedience. It requires both courage and determination to
resist the creeping resignation and psychic numbing that sets in, encouraging
apathy and inaction. What keeps us going
day to day and month to month is something called "Stress
Inoculated Resilience" and kinda like the enamel on our teeth, it
helps protect us from overwhelming decay.
It's a matter of training the brain to resist the strain.
"These days if you aren't depressed, you're
not paying attention"
So, there I was, 2 days before Christmas, at the
local VA clinic for my annual checkup.
Two hours of poking & prodding, needles and
nonsense. Toward the end of the yearly
ordeal comes the list of questions I now know by heart; except this year they
have a new final question..."Are
you feeling depressed, like there is no hope for the future?" To which I replied, "Oh, you've been
reading my blog!" - "What I am is skeptical about the future, even pessimistic about the future when I see such widespread apathy
about the many and serious threats to the future." - "A month or so after I got my new
electric wheelchair, "ISIS
" deliberately targets people in
wheelchairs during the Paris attack. Kinda takes the enthusiasm out of going out
in public with my new mobility."
I mentioned that these days even without terrorists
there is an awful lot of hot lead in the air with the weekly police shootings
of unarmed citizens; all the more reason to shop online! I may also have made a
reference or two to Fukushima,
and the ongoing epidemic of dead marine mammals washing ashore here in California. It was clear to see that my comments had left
the doctor and attendant at a loss for words.
They stammered about a bit before
changing the subject.
I get that a lot, because I tend to speak without
filters, except the ones about needlessly hurting someone's feelings. Why must our daily dialogue with each other
always rely upon these filters and subconscious self monitoring of our thoughts
and feelings before we speak them?
Why do we so often conceal our true self, even from those closest
to us?
We use these filters and self censorship to form
the make believe protocol of consensus reality, and when we elect to
break that protocol it is considered rude!
Yes, yes, it's so very rude to speak of how things really are; and to speak your truth can be
costly. And by the way; money is not free speech, it's just worthless paper, and THAT
is what all the polished turds are hiding.

longer I live, the stranger life gets"

Between the fall of the roman
empire andColumbussailing it took 13 centuries to add 200 million souls to
the population of the planet. In the nervous now; that many are added
every 3 years! In the next 9 years 600 million new arrivals are going
to be expecting their own piece of this paradise. Thinkfood, water, land &
resources.
There
are 360,000 births every day, that's 15,000 every hour, 250 births a minute,
that's
4 births every second of every day.
Now
compare that to departures:
There
are 151,600 deaths every day, 6,316 every hour, 150 deaths every minute,
that's
2 deaths every second of every day.
Black Friday posted a new all time record this
year: the most gun sales in a single
day.
The lines for guns were longer than those for the
new star wars movie. Might as well kill
"Christmas" and "Holidays" completely off and
from now on just call December "Black Month."
In the first
336 days of 2015 there were 356 mass shootings.
88 people die from gun violence every
day in the United States. Doesn't sound very united to me, but
that can change,
If we really want it to.
In the 3 years since Sandy
Hook; 555 children under 12 have
died from gun violence,
That's
one child every other day for 3 years!
What about the microbiologist brain drain? Over 125
dead in last 14 years, most died within the first 3 years after 911... just astronomical
odds. Likewise the over 800
environmental activists who have died just in the last ten years. Have you never wondered who is killing the
microbiologists and environmental activists?
It's strangely funny how the global warming deniers
have all changed their tune. Our weather going from record highs to
record snows in just one week is maybe part of the reason why. Twisters for Christmas throughout the Midwest,
19 states under flood alert, as a four year drought rages on in California.
Then there is that big giant methane leak at the
fracking operation near L.A.
that the mainstream media isn't telling you about. Seems they fracked their way right into a
massive underground methane reservoir...and can't stop the leak. Sound familiar? In case you don't know; methane is 22 times more
harmful to our environment than co2 is, yet very little is actually said about
that; ignore that man behind the curtain.
We've become addicted to our earthbound creature
comforts, we're more concerned with having than being. We're good little consumers, who wants a hover
board?? How about your very own
drone, more than a half million were sold during the Christmas buying season,
and by the way, there is a $25,000 dollar fine for flying an unregistered
drone.
As I struggle to comprehend all I see unfolding
around me, I'm reminded that life consumes life at every level of nature, not
just ours. Conflict and aggression are
just part of the way this place is.
There are few instances in nature where different species co-exist
peacefully; in fact most wild creatures kill their own kind on a regular basis. It is perhaps enlightened to walk a peaceful
path, and a bit unrealistic to believe the day will come when everyone
does. I don't think we're there yet. Not even close.
I see my own thought processes changing recently as
there is a growing list of things I simply cannot abide around me, such as
violence, conflict, politics, and movies with subtitles. I feel myself detaching more from the
material world, and growing weary of pointing out all the looming threats to
humanities future. I am well aware that
the rubble from all the decay must be swept away before new foundations can be
built; it just seems like the collapse of this dying paradigm is happening in
slow motion as the spin doctors feverishly polish their turds.
The powers that shouldn't be prefer that we
all remain in a constant state of fear and self limitation because it just
makes their job so much easier that way.
They don't want us getting creative or curious, just complacent. A mind gripped in fear only knows fear, not
much else gets through. We can reject
all that if it leaves a bad taste in the unconscious mind, and liberate
ourselves from fear. It's a simple
choice, a decision to be more engaged with life and those closest to us. It is choosing to engage life and either finding
or creating your own happiness without waiting for the world to fall into lock
step with us. It's about being
pro-active in creating the world we would have our progeny inherit; regardless
of what the turd polishers are up to.
We can reject the dying paradigm of giant polished
turds and government by terrorism whenever the pain of remaining the same
becomes greater than the fear of changing.
We can choose to make people & relationships more important than money. I'm not suggesting we get rid of money, just
that we quit elevating it's acquisition to our highest priority in this
incarnation. There are some hopeful
signs in the ethers; such as the prince of pills Martin Shkreli getting
arrested for fraud. He was the ass clown
who increased the cost of cancer meds from $13.50 to $700.00 a pill. Another example, Bill Cosbyfinally got arrested; So there is some justice!
"The
cosmos is unfolding precisely as it should ~
Our understanding, is
not a requirement."
There are more connections in the human brain than
there are stars in the milky way galaxy!
The galaxy is comprised of roughly 80 billion stars while the human
brain has over 100 trillion brain cells...and we currently are only using just
ten percent of that total capacity.
The Milky Way produces about seven new stars a year;
an all time low as the galaxy we live in ages to the point where new stars can
no longer come to life. I mention this
because what goes on down here on Earth is mostly of little concern to the rest
of the cosmos. I find it helpful to keep
that in mind, helps the perspective as we endeavor to find and create meaning
in our little ant lives.
In a recently televised interview; noted environmental
scientist professor Guy McPherson said "I can't imagine there will be a
human being on the planet in 2030; but the habitat for humans will be gone
before that."
For some perspective, most experts are now saying that if we
stopped all environmental pollution tomorrow, we wouldn't see any improvement
for thirty years; that's how bad it is, and since we won't be ending all
pollution tomorrow it's just going to get even worse. If both estimates are correct, then 15 years after
humans are gone, the environment will begin to show some signs of improvement.
Fifteen years to human extinction, now there is an attention
getter. No amount of backpedaling will
ever get back what we've lost. This then
would be the cost of so many years of sweeping everything under the rug of our
consciousness as we went about our lives as if everything was just dandy.
It isn't hard to see how things have gotten so dismal.
Fracking not only toxifies the ground water table so much
it's flammable; it also creates swarms of earthquakes in most cases; and yet
it's still
legal even as protests are quashed, and the protestors paid into
silence. Business as usual.
The pacific ocean is a dead zone because of Fukushima,
and yet the Japanese still continue dumping radioactive waste coolant water in
staggering amounts amid deafening silence from world leaders. How many dead whales, dolphins and sea lions
must wash ashore along the pacific coast every day; before the problem is acknowledged
and addressed?? We're just now seeing
the early impact of Fukushima
upon the environment. It isn't going
away any time soon; Google "Halflife".
Why do we keep allowing the very worst of humanity to rise
to leadership positions, generation after generation? Why do we keep allowing these psychopaths to
double down on their worst mistakes, every single time, regardless of the
future impact upon our progeny? How is
it we can have 16 people running for president and not a single one has spoken
out about the impact of Fukushima?
Keeping pace with the increasingly dystopian nature of
reality, American police have become virtually indistinguishable from elite
military units. To compliment their
military style tactical uniforms many police departments also have tanks & armored assault vehicles left over from
our wars of conquest. One big problem
with this is that when you dress cops like soldiers and give them soldier toys
to use, their behavior is going to reflect these changes. Police are supposed to have a very different
job description than soldiers. When they
turned cops into combat troops the old job description for cops was tossed out
- we have soldiers now, get used to it.
Every week now we have yet another unarmed innocent civilian
shot dead by police; and the victims aren'talways black. Case in point: the February murder of David Kassic who was first tasered, then shot dead by
hysterical police woman Lisa Mearkle;
all captured on video. After stopping
Kassic for an expired safety sticker officer Mearkle tasered him to the
ground. When the 59 year old Kassic
would not stop convulsing (as humans tend
to do when tasered), she shot him twice in the back, killing him. Upon viewing said video no sane person would
call it anything but murder; and yet the officer in questioned was exonerated by her department!!
Do you know what its called when the penalty for even the
smallest infraction of the rules is being shot to death on the spot? We call that a police state, and that's what America
has become.
Do you know why things got this bad, its because we allowed
it, that's how!
We passively allow the planets largest pesticide
manufacturer to make the food we eat, even though they refuse to label or
discuss these products. That doesn't
seem strange to you? When Monsanto is
done poisoning our food, they'll start genetically modifying pot seeds next; if
they haven't already. Now there's a thought for the
pondering!
Here's another one; Do you think maybe the chemtrails have
something to do with why nobody gives a fuck about anything anymore? There are literally so many vile, disgusting
things going on in the world just now, you'd think our collective heads would explode from the cognitive
dissonance & we'd be filling the
streets in protest. Instead we're just the
walking dead; going thru the motions to get to payday, never thinking much
beyond that. Why do we permit this
insanity? Isn't there some kind of
criteria we could use to screen out these parasites? You'd think there would be, right?!? Not so much.
Tricky Dick taught
us that legal is what you get away with.
Now whenever anyone starts talking about actually changing
things up a bit, I think everyone just automatically gives up without trying,
simply because we're programmed to believe we can't fight city hall...and a
hundred other similar things that got crammed in our heads from birth. People think changing things would be super
difficult, and complicated, but that's just more propaganda.
I wonder what would happen if the American people ever
reached the same consensus at the same time.
What if millions of us just
said "no more!" with a single voice while filling the streets
and bringing commerce to a halt for like a week, just to make a point? By now we should know that our protests (feeble as they are) always fall on deaf
ears. Cut off their flow of income for a
few days and I guarantee they'll listen.
Deprive them of their income for a little longer, and they'll be ready for
compromise.
Here are 3 examples!
We've recently seen this tactic work nicely with the forced retirement of a racist Missouri college professor when the entire football team went on strike in protest. Faced with loosing a million dollars per game, the powers that be gave in. Hit them in the money! The CEO who jacked up the price of cancer meds to $750.00 @ pill has also resigned under tremendous public pressure. Perhaps the best example came yesterday with Sea World's announcement that they are ending the killer whale shows due to public pressure and shrinking ticket sales! In the press release they indicated much of the protest resulted from the documentary film "Blackfish".
This is a tactic that will work ... we just need the numbers people. What do ya say, are you tired enough of this shit to finally stand up in righteous indignation; or have the chemtrails taken that out of you?
My daughter, and # 1
granddaughter are coming for a visit next month; and I find my anticipation
of the reunion has dusted off memories of being around my grandmother, (and the heavenly blueberry muffins she used to make)...and
I realize that I am not living in the world she envisioned for me, not even close. Like always, she never really had much of a
say in how things are done.
I said that bringing about change doesn't have to be
complicated and difficult, and here is one way we might conceivably bring it
about ... The Grandparent Test.
Here's how it would
work. Before new policies, politicians
or energy technologies could be permitted they'd have to pass the Grandparent
Test, which is beautiful in it's simplicity.
If it is something that a grandparent would not want in their grandkids future; it doesn't happen. No bribes, no legal loopholes, no
bullshit.
Think we could do that in under 15 years??
Grandma always used to remind me that in America,
anyone could grow up to be president;
however the reality is that the only president not picked by the illuminati,
was Jimmy Carter. What if those who
would be president had to pass the grandparent test to gain that office? Do you think maybe we'd get better results? Can the love of a grandparent trump evil
greedy bastards? Maybe it's the only
force that can! Maybe if there was just
more time we could find out.
If we could just
evolve fast enough.
Now of course being a grandparent can't be the only criteria, because clearly congress,
government & big business are full of
them; most of whom are also lawyers! Government & congress are supposed to be
representative of the nation's citizenry in general, yet few of us are
lawyers! Why so many lawyers in
congress? Its like having special
interests representing themselves, not us.
How about dumping all those greedy white lawyers and stacking congress
with scientists, environmentalists, and salt of the earth grandparents who love
family more than power and wealth. woulda,
shoulda, coulda.
It's hard not to dwell upon the kind of world my
grandchildren will inherit, and the way our generation has failed theirs. We had our shot at turning things around
during the summer of love nearly fifty years ago, and we blew it.
We let the bastards intimidate us right out of our future,
and humanities evolution.
Part of the blame here falls directly upon Timothy Leary; who had the opportunity
to galvanize every one of us back then, but instead he sold out and backed
away. I can imagine the kind of world
this might have become if on that sunny San Francisco day he'd said, "turn
on, tune in &take over"
instead of urging us to get stoned and drop out. He conned a generation into forsaking their
stake in the future. Nice job there
Timmy!
There is enough Helium-3 on the moon to supply 70% of
earth's energy needs with clean fusion energy; so why aren't we up there mining
it instead of polluting our planet with toxic fossil fuels, and starting serial
wars for petroleum? Why do we silently
finance wars of conquest across the globe, sacrificing our young men and women
on the altar of greed? If we spoke with
a single voice, we could divert that money to fully funding our schools, giving
back their music and arts programs. I
think that would pass the grandparent test faster than everlasting wars.
Is Guy McPherson right with his estimate of human
extinction, maybe yes maybe no, but certainly he very likely knows much more
than most of us do. Whether we bring
about our own demise, or fall to some HELE (Human Extinction Level Event) such as
coronal mass ejection, asteroid impact, gamma ray burst makes little difference
in the end; We'll still be gone. With
that said, whether we meet our doom in 15 years or 150; we still need to make
some drastic, quick changes around this place.
It is long past time to dump these depraved, greedy bastards
who use us as a renewable resource; We need to be investing everything
we have towards more life affirming ways of being on this planet. We need to restore the balance with nature,
act in concert with Gaia not against her.
We need to heal together. We need
peace.
If we should find
that creating the world we'd have our grandchildren inherit is just too much
work, too much inconvenience, then we may as well embrace the race to
extinction and party like it's 2030 - and hope for a better incarnation next
time.
As we navigate our way through the great shift of the ages,
and the spiritual awakening now blooming like plankton across the planet, it
just seems there are a great many things and issues one has to be aware of and
contend with if we are to avoid running aground on the rocks & shoals of a rapidly changing reality paradigm.
It seems almost a daily occurrence that the populace of the
planet is betrayed and deceived by those who have managed to slime their way
into positions of leadership. Every day
we are shown newer and more disgusting examples of this betrayal, feeling
powerless perhaps to change it much less fight against it. In New York
this week Pope Francis said that "Capitalism
is the devil's dung." As if
wanting to serve as an example; Turing
Pharmaceuticals bought out the company making the drug Daraprim then raised the price from $13.50 per pill, to $750.00 per
pill; (for a pill which costs a dollar to make.) The medication is a life saver for
people suffering from Aids, Malaria&Cancer. In an on camera interview, Martin Shkreli, the
smarmy young CEO for Turing stated;
"If people will pay $13.50 a pill to
save their life, they'll also pay $750.00 a pill to save it."
Wow, what an incredible ego it takes to say that on the
record! An incredibly sick ego!
Lamentably, this is far from an isolated case in the medical community today, where patients become cash cows for those with delusions of god-hood and egos to match. Everyone is now
feeling the effects of both the shift, and the mass awakening underway. For those who are awake, aware and on a
spiritual path these energies are perhaps somewhat easier to deal with, because we are aware of and acknowledge
them. It’s a different story for the sleeping dreamers trying to make sense
of what is unfolding around them; as a dying 3D reality
slowly grinds it's way to a higher frequency vibration.
Both share a common enemy.
Either way, awake or asleep, there is a built in aspect
of self within each of us which if allowed to, can take over your life
and make a shambles of it in extreme cases, and that is the ego; or to be more
precise, our negative ego. When we
incarnate into the physical form, the focus of consciousness is shifted from
the higher conscious mind, thru the unconscious and subconscious mind…to the
conscious mind.
Once incarnated the whole self is divided up into several
“aspects of self” such as the inner child,
nurturing parent&disapproving
parent, masculine and feminine and the ego; which as stated
has both a positive and negative expression.
I like to imagine this collective might be structured perhaps something
like a large corporation, with the self, (being us) as the CEO or president, and the various aspects of self each performing their
functions as specialized departments within the “corporate structure of self.”
It is important to understand that the ego does not exist in
the higher conscious mind, where there is no need of it; rather it is an aspect
of self existing only in the embodied state, created to assist the self on the
material plane of existence. The
incarnated soul nearly always finds itself overwhelmed in this earthly
environment, and the ego emerged to assist the self with survival, how to find
value, meaning and how to belong.
The ego is designed and programmed to serve as the eye
through which we view and understand the world around us, its sole function
being to deliver to us information from the outside world. The trouble is that the new ego is as
overwhelmed as we are by the physical world, and has no better idea of how to
succeed at the business of living than does the newly incarnated self. The two must find a way to work
together. Now in this corporate
structure of self, the egos job is much the same as the mail room delivery boy
in a real corporation. (Think Tim Robbins in “The Hudsucker Proxy”)
On a regular daily basis the ego delivers to the CEO
(us) not just random information from the physical world, but also information & communications from those around us. Our job is to place this information in proper
context, then to give it form, or if you like, to decide what the content
means, and what to do about it. Then we
give it back to the ego, to create that form in the physical world. The ego
self then puts that form into action, (the
male energy of doing) and being (the
feminine energy of being.) That’s the ego’s job.
Many have discovered that this efficient and well designed
system doesn’t always work as planned, it breaks down over time. How does this happen? One might say it happens due to free will. All too often we as the CEO of our corporate self, are not in our
office taking care of business when the ego arrives with fresh dispatches for
us to deal with. We are off doing something more fun, leaving things to run
on “auto pilot” in our absence.
Now this is all well and good providing it does not become
the norm. If the boss is out of the
office more than in when the ego delivers the daily dispatches, things begin to
happen. It begins harmless enough at
first. Finding itself alone in the boss’s
office yet again, the ego lingers, looks around a bit, and maybe even sits in
the bosses chair with its feet up on the desk, perhaps fantasizing. In time this becomes a little unofficial
break in the work day, a time when the ego is in the big chair.
One day the ego self notices there’s a lot of work piled up
that the boss hasn’t processed, and people demanding answers to their questions
etc. So, the ego decides to help out by
doing the bosses job. The problem is
that the ego is not designed or qualified to create context from content, or to
properly respond by giving it form.
The problem becomes
serious when the CEO finally realizes
what is going on, but chooses to do nothing for the moment. Being that the ego is keyed to survival,
sooner or later the negative side emerges if permitted to remain in control. The ego doesn’t necessarily know it’s not
qualified to do the boss’s job, so it opens the mail, answers the phone and
agrees to things it doesn’t understand.
The ego invariably makes mistakes and screws up because it
makes up meanings it can understand; it responds
improperly and gets into trouble, getting us into trouble. Thinking its doing right, the
ego defends its position if attacked, having heard that offense is the
best defense, the negative ego is born and it begins covering for itself
regardless of what that may do to us and our lives. When the CEO
(us) finally decides to re-take the seat of authority, the ego panics, and
fights back, and remember, it knows everything about you.
Suddenly everything becomes about the ego protecting itself
rather than doing the job the right way.
Before long we become the enemy
and the negative ego comes to resent and despise us, for various reasons. The more we fight it for control, the more we
are seen as a threat, because at the heart of things the ego is all about survival. This battle with the negative ego can begin
in adolescence and rage on for years; perhaps accounting for the self
destructive tendencies exhibited in so many.
Indeed it may be this very fundamental conflict within self
that has led so many to seek life on a spiritual path…as a way to finally end
this conflict. As stated previously the
ego is not a function of our spiritual nature, it does not arrive with us, nor
will it leave with us when we die. The
physical world is the whole universe to the negative ego, and since it cannot
accompany us on our return to source, it fears that as it does
death itself; and will resist any and all spiritual progress, until it is unseated
from power and re-programmed.
The negative ego is secretive, untrustworthy and deceptive
in the extreme and soon becomes adept at telling us what we want to hear. It is critical to remember here that although
the negative ego knows everything about us, all we know of it, is what it
allows us to see. It is at this
point when some are tempted to try something they read in a book or saw in a seminar…they
become convinced they must kill the ego to be free of it.
The moment we decide to try to kill the ego, oh boy, the war
is on, big time; and the negative ego now has its worst fears confirmed, we
are the enemy and must be destroyed.
Depending on various factors the negative ego will either commit to an
all out war with the self, or it may ‘retreat’ out of sight to wage a long
drawn out guerrilla war on the self; sabotaging it at every opportunity, but
it never relinquishes power for that is seen as defeat & death.
So, now there is an unqualified power hungry aspect of self
in control that is determined to survive even if it means destroying the
‘host.’ If left unchecked it threatens to bring chaos to our life and
relationships; one disaster at a time.
Anyone who challenges the negative ego becomes the enemy and must be
marginalized. The negative ego becomes something of a chameleon in its mastery
of deceit. It hides in the forest of
emotions, learning how to mimic each one.
It will tell you you’re wrong when you’re right, tells you you’ve done
badly when the reverse is true, and in time it even gets good enough to
convince you that you long ago defeated your negative ego.
How then do we deal with an out of control negative
ego? The obvious answer is with honesty
and love; never intimidation or force, which
by the way almost never works.
Neither will traditional forms of psychotherapy be very
helpful, that’s a game the ego likes, and excels at by the time you realize you
need help. I have heard that some have
had good results using such modalities as Primal
Scream Therapy, or Reality Therapy,
to confront and manage the negative ego aspect.
The problem is that you’re trying to fix something within by going outside,
to the illusion of physical reality, which is at best a temporary band-aid for
a permanent internal issue.
One of the reasons the negative ego becomes hostile is
because it really isn’t happy having to do all this…it isn’t what the ego
wanted, and to break free of its control the first step is understanding
that.
The next step is of course to determine what it is the ego
does want; what it was seeking all along, and of course that is esteem. It wants to be important because of the desire nature within all of us, it’s
hardwired for that you could say.
The third step in breaking free of ego is remembering that
getting your way with the ego is not at all dissimilar to dealing with a very
small child; it really helps to remember this.
Next comes the hard part, for you must go within and
confront the negative ego on its own home ground. Go within and call the ego forth with love & harmony as your intent. It may not respond the first or second time,
or even the third time you beckon it; but if you are persistent, the ego will
sit with you, and listen if your heart shows love and forgiveness.
You can forget about the damage already done up to this
point. Chances are you will just have to
find a way to deal with what may be impossible to repair. This meeting is about ending the conflict and
getting on with life with a harmonious corporate self, so forgiveness should be
first. Next you take responsibility for
your part in everything, after all if you had been on the ball in the first
place none of this would probably have happened, right? By now you have the ego’s full attention.
Time to offer ego a
truce, and a promotion.
By this point you will not have to prove to the ego that it
isn’t qualified for your job, it’s painfully aware. What you do have to prove is your recognition
of its ability, plain and simple. Working with the negative ego is very
challenging, and time consuming; and at first nothing will come easy. In life it often takes great effort to
rebuild trust where it has been broken, but that, as they say, is the name of
the tune.
As you slowly gain
that trust remind the ego that you both began life together, and need to work
together for either to be happy and fulfilled.
You establish a mutual peace agreement.
Finally, to reclaim your power and responsibilities from the ego, to
reclaim the CEO office you must promote
the ego from mail room delivery boy to Director of Communications, and
reprogram it to maximize the potential it was designed for.
As an example, the
egos prime directive is to collect data from the physical world and deliver
that to you. Tell it that as Director of
Communications its new job is to now scan for all the data picked up from all
of our senses…everything, and deliver
same to CEO without acting on any of it. Soon the ego will be delivering torrents of
raw data to the CEO’s office for
processing and response, just the way it’s supposed to be. This can be overwhelming at first, like a
mild case of sensory overload which quickly enough becomes the new norm, as you
find your awareness expanding across the board, and perhaps even across the
universe.
I find it interesting that the out of control negative ego
so closely mimics the tactics and behavior of our so called political parties
in this country. In both cases power is
wrongly seized by unqualified entities that make a holy mess of everything and
have no regard whatsoever for the host.
Sound familiar?
If indeed America’s
negative ego has been wrecking things for fun and profit, I wonder how much
more we can take, before we seek a way to stop it once and for all; and then restore the balance. Just as we each must confront our negative
ego (each in their own way) to
restore balance to our lives; we must also confront the ego’s real life
counterparts currently destroying this country.
If we don't confront them very soon, the chance will be gone.
I have this neighbor friend, she's about the same age as me,
with similar health related issues.
About once a month she'll call and we chat for awhile about mundane
matters; until she can no longer hold back the tears. She has an abusive husband, and over the last
ten years I have been an unwilling ear witness to his angry shouting and fits
of rage. The other neighbors hear it as
well, I know because they've told me so. The man is a beast. Just over a year ago she suddenly began walking
with a cane, and can't get far without it. I cannot help but wonder if the beast has now crippled her as well. She calls me when she's really up against it
and we talk it through. I always listen;
and give her the best advice gained from my years working as a counselor. These peer counseling sessions have been
going on for nearly five years; and yet I am no closer to understanding why any woman would tolerate such chronic
spousal abuse.
Why do any of us tolerate the kind of
abuses we see every day at work, and
at home? In our heart of hearts each of us know that berating &
belittling others for fun and profit is just plain wrong, period. We know this yet time and again we watch
without comment; our silence is our tacit approval. Worse yet, sometimes we join in out of peer pressure and the need to fit in with our tribe. Of
course some people can be
exasperating and a real challenge to deal with; but perhaps after so many
generations of waiting for things to get better maybe we're all
a bit nuts here. What if we switched our
default mode from rude & crude to
something that honored the spirit within each of us?
Imagine that!
I'm
another you ~ You're another me
Each of us has the potential to become a fully realized human; and this potential
is great. Unfortunately, most all of us fall decidedly
short of what we might otherwise achieve. We allow ourselves to be manipulated by fear, guilt and
shame; then we give our power over to others who are undeserving, and lacking
all dignity.
We somehow seem to forget that inside every other human we
meet there is another soul; just like us,
with similar values, hopes and dreams.
Somewhere along the way we quit holding all other souls with the same
esteem we give ourselves. We see others
as different and separate from us, less
than in a lot of cases. Look out for
#1
As we struggle to make our way in the mundane rat race,
acquiring the desired status tokens and trophy spouses along the way; we loose
touch with the dignity within
us. Having little marketable value in
today's world, we put it away, up on the shelf.
It is not basic human nature to distrust each other. We had to learn that from somewhere. Distrusting others by its very definition precludes
communion & working together;
makes it all but impossible. When some natural disaster strikes we show our true colors by coming to the rescue
and aid of total strangers; but as soon as the emergency recedes we're back to
snarling and fence building. Where does
that come from? Yes, it probably served
us well to distrust others back when the first Cro Magnon humans appeared on the scene; and yet modern science has
determined through DNA
testing that instead of wiping out the Neanderthals,
the Cro Magnon instead, interbred with them.
I suppose that could certainly
explain a lot.
With the exception of some who nature just wired wrong, I
believe each of us would rather live in a much kinder, gentler world where
co-operation and peace prevail. The
trouble is that life shoves us into the rat race where competition and greed
call the tune we all dance to. Because
none are offered, we're hypnotized into thinking there are no options to the
rat race. There are, but we must seek
them out, and then decide to choose those options. Anything less is called dreaming. Soon that may be illegal too.
According to the Hindus,
Mayans, Nostradamus and the zodiac;
this is the age of spiritual evolution when humanity takes a big step
forward. Even a casual glance around
this place confirms we are not there yet.
Not even close. What we're currently seeing, and living through is the
ugly side of evolution; the nasty part where the broken old corrupt paradigm
must make way for the shiny new Aquarius thing.
As Warren Zevon explained it to us, "It ain't that pretty at all."
Before we can expect to actually see what this evolution is
going to look like, we're gonna have to do something about things like human
trafficking, starvation, poverty, racism, and letting the psychopaths run
everything. As we can readily see from
the puppet theater we call mainstream media, the status quo is doubling down on
the insanity in an effort to trump
any chance of a return to reason and dignity.
They really believe that if
they keep humanity below the threshold for evolution, they can remain on top
forever. Not much dignity in that at
all.
We have learned all too well that those who honor integrity,
honesty and truth are soon exploited by the world as if those were weaknesses rather than virtues. Those who only play by their own rules are
very fond of using our virtues against us at every turn. Business practices nowadays are nearly all
predatory, and quality control has
been relegated to being an insider joke.
Big business to small are equally guilty of treating prospective
customers as little more than a renewable resource, a walking dollar sign to be
harvested by any means necessary.
"This
is customer service; we're not satisfied
until
you're not satisfied."
You cannot legislate morality because people will resent it
and hold onto their intolerance and entitlement even tighter, like a rabid pit
bull on steroids. Case in point the jailed county clerk in Kentucky
who refused to issue same sex marriage licenses after the recent judicial decree recognized them across the
land. Here's the thing, so simple: If
issuing marriage licenses to same sex couples offends her faith so much then
she should quit her job - not refuse to perform it! It
seems that a great many Americans have forgotten that this country was created
as a melting pot of people from many
diverse backgrounds and belief systems.
We've bought into the them or us
ideology and allowed ourselves to be set against one another for other peoples
gain, profit and entertainment. Divide &
conquer, it really works quite well. Who
sold us this "bill of goods"
where the only human life we honor is our own?
We now have the opportunity
to evolve beyond that kind of intolerant mindset; into a consciousness which
honors all life.
Dreaming about such things won't get us there, that is just the first
stage. We need to think, speak & act in way which will bring about the
evolution we desire to see. Gandhi said
it best, "we must be the change we
wish to see in the world."
"For
some people this world ain't ever gonna be right."

The third leading cause of death in America
is medical care. Let that sink in a minute.
Big medicine and big pharma are in an unholy alliance of the
worst kind. When folks are ill, and at
their weakest they should be able to trust those who provide their health
care. Instead we get "care"
providers who only want to treat the symptoms
and not the ailment so they can over
charge by 300 percent, sucking every possible penny from their patients. Sky high medical bills force hundreds into
bankruptcy every year, force folks into poverty &
homelessness. Worst of all is the
over-hyped total fabrication of make believe medical conditions so they can
sell us their pills with side effects far worse than the imaginary
ailment. Unfortunately these side
effects are very real, and in fact
are often life threatening. What ever
happened to their famous oath of "First,
do no harm?"
What dignity do we show our war veterans when in the case of
Vietnam, it was
dioxin from agent orange that gave them cancer, or with the gulf war when
"gulf war syndrome" was caused
by the vaccinations given them? Guinea
pigs and cannon fodder; and those who manage to survive must battle the
government for years to gain promised benefits and medical care. Where is the dignity in allowing that in our name?
The powers that (shouldn't) be of course have long ago
stacked the deck in their favor.
As it turns out you really can't fight city hall because the game is rigged, the fix is
in.
It has been this way for so very long now you'd think we'd
tire of all the persecution & unexpected
sudden death, and revolt or something; but they
have taken care of that as well. The
population at large has been taken right out of the equation with pacification
technologies like chemtrails, fluoridated water and GMO food-like-products.
Have you never wondered why the worlds largest manufacturer of pesticides is now making your dinner? How about that?
On the subject of food, are you
still eating things from the ocean? You
really shouldn't! The pacific ocean is
irradiated with nuclear radiation from Fukushima,
and those who may still doubt that have only to check out Rense for an education. Those people at the seafood corporations who knowingly
sell radioactive fish to the public should be jailed for crimes
against humanity, their business shut down permanently. We know
that'll never happen, and once again our silence is our tacit approval.
Simply unbelievable!
Human dignity shouldn't need
to be legislated!
Whatever happened to those inalienable human rights guaranteed to us?
If nothing else, this spiritual evolution now underway is
the next step in humanity's return to the divine. Can we even experience divinity without dignity?? Great question, eh? It might just be that before we see this evolution we might
have to slap an "R" in front of it.
You didn't think the powers that
shouldn't be were gonna just hand it over did you??
2000 some years ago a holy man named Christ showed up with one simple message, love one another. Since then we've mostly been killing each
other over how he said it. Love one
another, simple. How did we ever get so
far from that concept? What has happened
to us that we are so willing to endorse and endure wars of financial conquest
as a way of life?
"I
wanna know what became of the changes
we
waited for love to bring."
~ Jackson Browne ~
Is life a miracle or nightmare, or something in
between? It depends entirely on ones
perspective. The universe rearranges itself to accommodate our picture of reality;
so if you see life as a miracle, miraculous things are drawn to you. If however, you feel life is out to get you
and everyone cheats - that also will become your reality. You literally have to believe it to see it.
We all recoiled in disgust when a wealthy dentist recently
killed and butchered Cecil the beloved
lion as a trophy. But what of the 30,000
elephants slaughtered each year in a mechanized and militarized ivory poaching
operation? (That number is correct, 30,000)
Where is the outcry for the elephants who are executed from helicopters
for their tusks? A recent National Geographic special actually planted
decoy elephant tusks with tracking technology inside, into the illegal ivory
"pipeline." They soon
discovered that the entire operation is being run by Joseph Kony, the
psychotic leader of the African Lord's
Resistance Army terrorist group. All
the poached ivory tusks, (many from baby
elephants) are hand carried 600 miles to the Sudanwhere they are traded for weapons and
ammunition. The recipient of the
Ivory being the very man who perpetrated the genocide in Darfur. The same world which protested the killing of
Cecil is silent over the yearly slaughter of elephants by terrorists. We revile a greedy ego driven individual, but
ignore the far worse crimes of governments.
We do not want to know.
Haven't we evolved far enough by now to see that our self-appointed leaders are leading us all into a nightmare-quality dystopian
future? The powers that shouldn't be, thru their media department, show us the future they envision
with movies like The Hunger Games and
The Maze Runner complete with
multiple sequels. They are embedding
these ideas into our heads now, so that we won't be taken totally by surprise
later.
Remember that chilling famous
line from Star Trek? "Resistance is Futile."
Anywhere you care to look in what's left of the natural
world we see the recurring theme of violence.
The natural world is full of all kinds of violence, including armies
which do battle, and one species making slaves of another. We are expected to be better than that. We are expected to overcome those primal
instincts and create a world safe for our children. Now, if you like you can certainly settle for
the rule of violence but remember if you do, what you'll have is just existing,
simply surviving; it's not in any rational way considered living. Is that really all you want? Is this really who we are? Is a world without violence even possible? Yes, most assuredly it is possible, but not
with the status quo. It's the thing
about letting the psychopaths be in charge, we need to change that. Tried it for a while now, you happy with the
results?
Before any real change is possible we must come to
understand that WE are the fuel that feeds the rapacious hunger of the matrix. Without our silence and tacit approval they
cannot continue business as usual. We
must stop feeding the monster.
Simple as that! Of course this
won't be a piece of cake in the doing of it, because the matrix has made us
dependent upon them for our day to day existence. How about YOU, do you feel as though you are
truly living; or are you just existing between paychecks? Sad to say but true just the same; most
humans will not change until the pain of staying the same becomes
unbearable. What say we maybe start
sooner, say for an example, before we
begin taking our frustrations out on those closest to us, that isn't what they
signed up for!
"Where
must we go,
We who
wander this wasteland
in
search of our better selves?"
~ The
First History Man ~
Even Gandhi,
perhaps history's greatest advocate of non-violence, eventually came to
understand that sometimes violence is the only way to stop a terrible
evil. I'd really like to hear what he
might have to say about our world today.
Perhaps we need to take a lesson from the natural world. When some animal is trying to kill you it's
either fight or flight; if you can't
fly or run away fast enough you must fight violence with violence. The sole remaining option is to just quietly
surrender to the inevitable.
What about the many millions of refugees fleeing Syria? We see this massive human exodus spreading
into central Europe on the lamestream media news. How about some dignity for them? Are they any less a human than the Obama's,
& Assad's of this place? Are they
any less human than you & me? Our fear of terrorism drains the dignity from
our self image as we refuse to open our doors to the hoards of refugees fleeing the war in Syria.
How about the millions killed in ethnic cleansing campaigns
across the globe, who speaks for them? Why
are the impoverished of this world not accorded the same basic dignity that we
westerners demand with our entitled attitudes and commercialized mindsets? Why does the world turn a blind eye on such
atrocities every time? We
don't want to know because it's painful in a way no pill can diminish; and we
don't wish to feel that pain, so we turn our attention elsewhere, America's got talent.
Are we truly living, or just existing & surviving?
In our search for dignity we're assured to not find much
when we look at how society treats the elderly.
Not long after they're ushered out of the workforce we begin the
marginalization of the aging members of society as if they're just old & in the way. We disregard their knowledge and experience,
ignoring their opinions as if they were children. Despite being one of the ten commandments we often dishonor our parents by quietly shuffling
them off to care centers when dealing with them becomes difficult. We're
Increasingly discovering that a great many of these elder care facilities leave
a lot to be desired when it comes to dispensing dignity.
If we would increase &
defend dignity, then few tools are as powerful as unconditional love and radical
forgiveness. We must delete the
"us vs them" virus from our
hard drives then replace it with something life affirming with room for all,
nobody excluded. If we're looking for
justice in this world as well as some dignity; at the end of the day it's just us.
If we do not accept the mantle, then who? If not now, when?
Although the concept of unconditional
love might seem a tall order at first blush for some, we must remember it
requires us to detach the person from their deeds. Unconditional love becomes possible when we
choose to disapprove of the deeds yet hold love in our heart for the person
despite their words or actions. We can
also embrace radical forgiveness in
such cases by agreeing with the universe that our total understanding isn't
required before we can forgive. The details are never as important as the
forgiveness.
We try our best to insulate our children from the real
horrors of this world. We attempt to
protect them from being exposed to the things which make our souls sick, but is
this really helping or hurting in the long run?
Shielding our offspring from the reality of this world only results in
sending young adults into it totally unprepared for what awaits them. Yes, they are our children but they are also
our last best hope of turning things around; which is why the great shining lie bombards them with meaningless social media
and anything they can think of to distract them from what is going on. The matrix gave them a fake culture which
encourages them to go extreme and
ignore the political stage upon which the puppet theater plays out. It's working!
So, where will our children acquire a sense of dignity? Bottom line here is that if we
do not impart our children with a sense of dignity they might never acquire it
themselves.
Some will no doubt take the stance that against such a
powerful force as what we call the matrix,
no defense is possible. For them I
suggest spending a night with a few starving mosquitoes in the room to learn a
lesson in perspective. Imagine several
billion hungry, angry mosquitoes. "They" are literally standing on the
shoulders of rest of the world; and if we could just get everyone to heave-ho
at the same moment, the matrix would crumble.
Without all of us supporting and feeding it the matrix cannot exist.
I know, its easy to say, but much harder to
accomplish. True that! Does that mean we shouldn't even make the
attempt? We have to start somewhere,
might as well be here and now because this Titanic
nation is going down with psychopaths in control and all we can manage is to
fight over the seating arrangements as the band plays on.
Corruption is the first and perhaps worst destroyer of
dignity there is. First it tempts and
tests your integrity; next it goes for your honesty, eroding everything in its
path just a little at a time. Corruption
whispers to us that "Its not selling
out, its buying in!" and when everyone else is doing it the pressure & temptation increase. We call it compromise instead of giving in to
corruption, we tell ourselves we're keeping our eye on the big picture and the
long run ... giving in to corruption (among other things) eventually
leads to self-loathing & self
destructive behavior which inevitably gives dignity some company up on that
shelf.
"Nothing but undeveloped, un-evolved, barely
conscious
pond
scum, totally convinced of their own superiority as they
scurry
about in short, pointless lives."
~ "Bug" fromMen
in Black~
As the pace of life
is artificially stimulated to move
faster than we can keep up with;
shortcuts to success become more tempting even if it means
betraying some of our own standards and values to do it. That's how the matrix gets us, and feeds on
us; all while putting us into sensory overload and future shock. I remember how it was when America went into
Vietnam. Citizens filled the streets by the
thousands in cities across the land protesting, again and again. You don't see much of that anymore; even
though the crimes are a hundred fold worse than they were back then.
Don't you ever wonder why?
The residents of Rapa Nui(Easter
Island) gave us all a profound cautionary tale
when it comes to human dignity. Did they
forsake their dignity when they destroyed their environment, or was it later,
when they turned to cannibalism to survive?
Will we be able to learn from their mistakes in time to avoid their
fate? Or is it too late?
The city of San Francisco
is busy these days getting ready for the world's attention come super bowl 50
in February. Naturally this includes
sweeping up the homeless and getting them out of sight. I would just imagine any homeless person you
might happen to meet already feels a
great lack of dignity every day above ground.
How do you suppose they feel about being considered a blight to be
removed for appearance sake? They say
character is revealed by how we treat those who can do nothing for us, and
they're right.
We currently have at our disposal perhaps the perfect weapon
with which to change things up; the internet.
Instead of using it to organize ourselves against our common enemy, we
watch porn and cat videos. Instead of
using the internet to educate and empower ourselves; We use it as escapism to
better avoid all those things we don't want to know. The things we do not wish to think about.
I struggle with a huge case of cognitive dissonance because
in the face of full spectrum evil running amok, we're barely raising a whimper of
protest, even as our quality of life continues eroding before our
dumbstruck eyes. We don't want to know,
so we continue our daily pantomime, going thru the motions and pretending all
is well. If we were to acknowledge the
things we ignore, it would then require us to re-assess our lives, &
ourselves. We do not want to know. Is this really who we are?
We become so obsessed with the acquisition of money it makes
us sick, and kills us years before our time.
We behave as if money was the most important thing in the world, it's mass
insanity. We are in need of a broader perspective and a better set of values and the good news
is that they are available right now in massive quantities; we have only to
reach out and claim them, use them. It's
really a simple matter; will you have more of the same old status quo, or
perhaps something a bit more evolved, and enlightened?
Pick one !
Because for those who don't want to
know;
We're locked in a bit of a death spiral here.
This time of year I really enjoy just sitting out on the
back deck in the early evening, discussing the day's events with the cat. Again tonight I am deprived of that quiet
commune with nature; the beast next door is at it again; verbally
abusing his wife. I keep waiting for her
to find her voice, or his shotgun; or for him to stroke out at the height of
his rage. I know the scene next door
will be repeated many thousands of times around the world before dawn. Our evolution
seems far away tonight, and somehow less likely.
Guess I'm just having a hard time accepting
that this is really who we are.
